Queen City Drive Trespassing Arrest

On February 2, 2025 at approximately 4:36 PM, an officer of the Cumberland Police Department was on patrol when he observed a male and female cross the train tracks in the area of Queen City Drive and Frederick Street.  The area was posted as ‘No Trespassing’.  The subjects were identified as Steve Whitt and Tia Whalen.  They were issued criminal citations and released pending trial.

On January 22, 2025, Officers of the Cumberland Police Department were on routine patrol in the area of Queen City Drive when they observed a male crossing train tracks in a conspicuously posted no-trespassing area. Officers approached the male who was identified as Malik Freeman. Freeman advised he did not see the sign before crossing. Freeman was issued a criminal citation for trespassing and released on screen pending his trial.

Arrest: Malik Bernard Freeman, age 28, Cumberland, Maryland.
Charge: Trespassing Posted Property.
