On Wednesday, September 11th, 2024, The Cumberland Police Department responded to a Queen City Dr. business for the report of a theft. Employees advised that a male subject had entered the store and began to consume food products. The male then left the store without paying for the items he consumed. Officers searched the area and later located a male matching the description of the suspect. When contacted, the subject admitted to eating the items without attempting to pay for them. As a result, Jared Nathaniel Citarelli, 36, of Cumberland MD, was placed under arrest. He was issued a Criminal Citation for the offense and released, pending trial in District Court.
