Let’s Beautify Cumberland and County United Way are planning a Memorial Day parade and service in downtown Cumberland for Monday, May 26, 2025 co-sponsored by WCBC Radio and Cumberland Times-News. Chris Myers, Event Coordinator with Let's Beautify Cumberland said we are pushing for the return of the Memorial Day Parade at Tuesday night's Mayor and City Council meeting advocating a return to the decades long tradition in Cumberland.  Council members Eugene Frazier and Rock Cioni were supportive of the parade idea.
