One of the orders on Tuesday evening’s consent agenda for the Cumberland Mayor and City Council was to accept the donation of a parcel of property located at 212 Baltimore Street. The house, across from the Cumberland YMCA, has stood empty for some time and now property owner Matthew Hunt is allowing the City to acquire it. The property sits at the intersection of Baltimore Street, Baltimore Avenue, Henderson Avenue, and Park Street. Mayor Ray Morriss tells WCBC that the City will determine the best use of the property…
