Maryland state retirees are scrambling to figure out what to do about prescription drug coverage that will be ending in December. Moves by the General Assembly in 2009 to balance the budget resulted in the state dropping the prescription coverage. Senator Mike McKay had submitted a bill to reinstate the coverage, but it did not make it out of committee. He’s not sure about another bill happening…
McKay says the retirees should start making plans about what to do before the end of the summer…
