With the 2025 filing season quickly approaching, the Internal Revenue Service encourages taxpayers to take key steps now to prepare for when they file their 2024 federal income tax returns.  IRS Media Relations for the Maryland, West Virginia and Virginia region Rodney Bearman says taxpayers need to acquire the proper forms needed. “Forms such as a W2 from your employer for those who earn wages.  Forms 1099 for banks or other payers.  Forms 1099-K from third-party paying networks, and 1099 Interest are just a few of the forms that taxpayers may need—depending on their circumstances—to file their return.”
