Buyers are lining up to get their Powerball tickets for the next drawing this week.  The Saturday night drawing had no winner and the $900 million jackpot has grown since then.  Matt Moulden at Allegany Liquors spoke with WCBC and said they have had well over 100 people come in for tickets in the past few days and are expecting more before the next drawing.   Some of those people are new to buying lottery tickets…

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million chances.  The game is played in 45 states across the country as well as the US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.  Moulden  gave the latest estimates on the jackpot amounts for Powerball and the Mega Millions drawings that occur this week…
