Potomac Valley Farms Win WV Conservation Recognition

Cottage Hill Farm, a traditional farm in Grant County, and Powder Keg Farms, a non-traditional farm in Hampshire County received the top West Virginia Conservation Farm of the Year award in their categories.  Both farms are in the Potomac Valley Conservation District and were recognized for their conservation practices to protect soil, land, and water. Each farm received a $1,000 award and the use of a tractor from Middleton Tractor Sales in Fairmont.
