On Tuesday, June 29^th, 2021, The Cumberland City Police served a Criminal Summons on Demond Arthur Scott Jr, 34, of Cumberland MD. The summons stemmed from an incident that occurred on June 25^th, 2021 at a residence in the 300 block of Frederick St. During that incident it is alleged that Scott broke into a residence there before stealing a vehicle belonging to the resident. Scott was served the summons and released, pending trial in District Court.
