Cumberland Police are continuing their investigation into possibly human bones found off of Independence Street in the City.  A person exploring woods in the vicinity Tuesday came across the bones and alerted law enforcement.  Police Chief Chuck Ternent said the bones and some clothing were collected as evidence and are being analyzed.  The Chief said there could possibly be a connection to a missing person’s case…

    

“It’s too early to tell this early in the investigation, but we do have Larry Aleshire who’s been missing for quite a long time so it is a possibility.”
