Marylanders who filed for an extension on their 2023 personal income tax returns must file returns by October 15th. Free in-person state preparation is available at the 11 branch offices throughout the state. Maryland taxpayers can receive help in-person, or during a virtual appointment, as long as they have completed a federal return.
