A new bill is being introduced in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for cannabis legalization. Sponsors of the bipartisan bill say that leveraging the state’s robust agricultural infrastructure and robust medical cannabis program will foster job creation and generate tax revenue. Like Maryland’s law, the bill aims to place strong emphasis on social equity and includes measures like the expungement of prior cannabis offenses.
