The Pell Grant Preservation and Expansion Act would nearly double the maximum award for college students, the base of federal financial aid for over 6 million undergraduates.
Senators Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen along with other Senators and Congressmen co-sponsor the bill that would raise the Pell Grant to match rising costs of a college education.
