Passages of the Western Potomac Heritage area recently announced three mini-grants awarded to local non-profits.
The new Wills Creek Museum that opens at the end of month received $4,000. Emmanuel Episcopal Church was awarded $2,875 for a production of Handel’s Messiah, and the Allegany County Historical Society received $5,000 for a living history area at Fort Cumberland during Heritage Days in September.
