This Saturday, the Allegany County Historical Society’s 1845 Firehouse hosts the first North End Neighborhood Holiday Party.  The gathering takes place at the Cumberland Hose Company on North Mechanic Street, starting at 11am, providing treats and necessities for families in the area. Sofia Narvaez of Munchies Tacos told WCBC community partners including the United Way have made the event possible…

 

“We worked to get some other partners involved to be able to give away winter clothing, some fresh food, canned food. And we really just wanted to be able to do a giveaway during the colder months just to give away some warm food.”
