Maryland Governor Larry Hogan will visit  the region next week and plans a major regional transportation announcement that will increase economic development and benefit residents of Western Maryland.  The investment addresses Garrett County’s #1 transportation priority. The project will boost regional economic development in this north-south connector, helping better connect residents to opportunities in Maryland and Pennsylvania.
