Over 300 Projects Receive Funding

Almost $130 million dollars has been announced by the Governor Moore Administration to support revitalization programs through the Department of Housing and Community Development.  Awards will go to redevelopment projects statewide including business expansion and retention, façade and streetscape improvement, homeownership and rehabilitation, and demolition activities. Locally, project awards totaling over $1 million dollars went to Allegany College of Maryland, Allegany County, Frostburg and the City of Cumberland.
