October saw a slight increase in gaming revenue from Maryland’s six privately owned casinos. Compared to October of 2023, slot machines and table games generated a .4% increase in revenue. The casinos contributed $68.5 million dollars in taxes to Maryland for the month. Total gaming revenue was $160.5 million dollars. Rocky Gap Casino in Allegany County produced $4.3 million in revenue for the month but for the calendar year, they are behind 2023’s take by $7 million dollars and down 11% from last October’s totals.
