On Wednesday,at approximately 7:03 AM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to UPMC Western Maryland for a subject requesting to speak to an officer. The subject was identified as Dustin Walk. He was argumentative with officers and the staff requested that Walk leave the property. Walk was then escorted off of the property. At approximately 7:57 AM, police responded to Allegany College for Walk causing a disturbance. Walk was escorted off of the property. At approximately 8:40 AM, police responded to Willowbrook Rd. for Walk stepping into traffic. Upon their arrival, officers observed Walk standing close to the roadway, causing traffic to stop. Walk was arrested and transported to Central Booking. Walk was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $2,000 bond.
