New Maryland Delegation Meets

November 20th, 2024 by WCBC Radio

Maryland’s newest members of Congress appeared with U.S. Senators Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen at the Capitol Foyer in Washington D.C.  It was the first time the new state delegation has met.  Senator Van Hollen remarked that Team Maryland makes a point to work together…

“One of the things that’s characterized Team Maryland is making sure that we all work for every part of the state.  Because if you’re one congressional district, you’re stronger when other members of the delegation are fighting for you and so it’s sort of one for all and all for one.”

New Congresswoman April McLain Delaney who represents the 6th District said that she is excited to be working with experienced House and Senate members…

“Team Maryland really is an incredible place to be a part of because they care deeply about public service. They care deeply about the wellbeing of all those who live within the state.”
