The state of Maryland reported less than 1,000 new daily coronavirus cases for the first time since November, with 905 new cases reported Tuesday morning.
Hospitalizations did go up slightly, as did the positivity rate, which was calculated at 5.79%.
According to Tuesday's report, 34 people died from COVID over a one-day period, pushing the statewide total above 7,000.
