A new temporary route offering round-trip travel between Chicago and Miami will combine the routes of the Amtrak Capitol Limited and Silver Start to create the Floridian. The train will still stop in Cumberland and will feature coach class, roomettes and bedrooms as well as a dining car that is a complimentary amenity for First Class travelers. The temporary route is necessary while renovations take place on the East River Tunnel in New York. The train makes its first trip on November 10, leaving from Chicago
