Republican Congressional Candidate Neil Parrott, running for the Maryland seat vacated by David Trone, talked to WCBC News on Wednesday ahead of his tour of downtown Cumberland. Parrott remarked that he is from Western Maryland and the idea that his opponent April Delaney doesn’t live in the district is truly upsetting…
“You’ve got someone totally rich, who’s from Potomac, who believes they can just come in and buy the seat. She must have had a country club meeting with David Trone and said ‘Im not going to run again. So why don’t you just take it?’ John Delaney had it last time, now I’m going to pass it on to my wife. This is not the way that the people’s house should be represented. We should be represented by the people, not by somebody outside the district that just wants to come in and buy the seat.”
