Events are being planned for the annual National Day of Prayer.  A prayer rally will be held April 30 at 6:30 p.m. at Central Assembly Church on Bedford Road with a freewill offering to be taken.  There will be a prayer breakfast May 1 at 8 a.m. at the Allegany County Fairgrounds multipurpose building.  An outdoor observance will take place at City Hall on May 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will feature live music and prayer.
