A new exhibit at the Allegany Museum on Pershing Street in Cumberland is taking visitors on a trip through the history of the main thoroughfare of downtown Cumberland. Students in Allegany High School’s Historical Research Methods class developed and designed the exhibit that opened in May at the museum and will run through September 1. Cumberland Historic Planner Ruth Davis-Roger says the project had a grant from Preservation Maryland for accompanying print materials….
