The Mountain Valley Pipeline, a long-delayed natural gas pipeline that will run through Virginia and West Virginia, was given the green light for construction on national forest land last week. The 303-mile pipeline, which will transport natural gas from Ohio and Pennsylvania, still has a number of federal hurdles to clear before it can be completed, but the approval from the US Forest Service is an important step in the process.
