As the fall harvest season begins, the Maryland Departments of Transportation and Agriculture remind motorists that they will be sharing the road with farm equipment. “Since 2020, there have been 185 crashes involving farm equipment, including three fatalities. So, it is an important topic. Drivers, in addition to leaving more time for your travels, you pass farm equipment with extreme caution and never pass while navigating turns on hills or where sight-distance could be limited.”
