West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey is warning college students looking for jobs to be mindful of employment scams. College is the first time many young adults are in charge of their personal affairs, which makes them more susceptible to scammers. Students should be wary of unsolicited attempts to gain access to personal information and work-at-home positions as well as any job offers that include an exchange of financial information or money. Morrisey advises students to do thorough background study on a business before applying.
