Potomac Edison has installed the City’s second electric car charging station in Cumberland, at the Liberty Street Surface Parking Lot. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held in the lot, located at 40 N. Liberty St. Cumberland Mayor Ray Morriss and City Council Members welcomed James Crowder, Regional External Affairs Consultant and Marty Dunnington, Distribution Tech IV – Design Services from Potomac Edison in jointly introducing the new charging station and familiarize everyone with the EV Driven program. Over the course of the next five years, Potomac Edison will install 59 charging stations, including twenty fast-charging stations, across its seven-county Maryland territory.
