Maryland Governor Wes Moore was recently interviewed at the Texas Tribune Festival where he touched on a number of subjects, especially the upcoming Presidential election. He has been campaigning for Democratic nominee Kamala Harris, but was quick to say that whoever wins won’t check every box that people want in their President…
“Come November, we are going to elect someone to serve as the President of the United States. That person is going to have a very real responsibility to be able to either make our lives better or to complicate them significantly. Then, nobody’s going to be perfect. If we are holding out in the hope of perfection, then we’re going to have a difficult time ever becoming engaged.”
