A binder of information pertaining to everything business and property owners will need to know in advance of the Baltimore Street Access Project is being finalized and will be hand delivered in the coming weeks. During Tuesday’s monthly meeting of the Cumberland Economic Development Corporation, executive director Matt Miller said that steps are being taken to help businesses along the downtown pedestrian mall during construction related to the nearly $10 million project. The plans call for the replacement of aging underground utility lines beneath the mall, then installing a one-way street from Mechanic Street east to George Street. Obviously construction will be significant, creating some challenges for those operating businesses downtown. Miller said the mitigation plan is a thorough one…
