There is no shortage of Memorial Day events to take advantage of this coming holiday weekend. The 16th Annual DelFest continues at the Allegany County Fairgrounds through Sunday. The Potomac Concert Band kicks off the Sunday in the Park at 730pm on the 26th at the Constitution Park Amphitheatre.
Traditional observances for Memorial Day include the City of Lonaconing at 10am Monday, services at the Gulf War Memorial at 11am, Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery at 2pm, and WCBC’s Chris Myers will sound TAPS at 3pm in Veterans Park in Downtown Cumberland.
