Cumberland Mayor Ray Morriss kicked off his time with WCBC on Wednesday by taking the Cumberland Times-News to task over a story from Tuesday’s City Council Meeting.  Morriss said the headline in the paper is misleading as to when a parking app would be coming to Baltimore and surrounding streets…

   

“You know, if that’s all you read you believe the app is gonna go into place right now and that’s the furthest thing from the truth.”

Morriss went on to say that a parking app may be used at some point in the future, but the council has not made a decision on that. The Council will have a future vote to introduce one-hour free parking that will be enforced on Baltimore, Liberty, and Centre Streets.
