It has taken roughly seven years to see significant movement on a commercial plaza project situated in the Rolling Mill neighborhood of Cumberland- and although that is still months away from seeing actual businesses opening- city officials are already looking at another interchange with the potential to draw traffic off of the interstate and into town. Once the planned restaurants, convenience stores and other businesses are up and running at Rollng Mill, Mayor Ray Morriss says the I-68 Maryland Avenue exit should prove to be a popular stopping point for travelers.
