In perhaps the most telling sign to date that the Coronavirus pandemic is reaching an end- the state of Maryland is working on plans for winding down the state’s mass vaccination sites. That announcement this week from Maryland Health Secretary Dennis Schrader as he met with the Senate Vaccine Oversight Workgroup. WBAL reports Maryland is at a very different place with vaccine distribution than it was even a month ago. More than 66% of adults have at least one shot and demand is decreasing, so now state health officials are working on a new strategy for the future.
