Millions of Marylanders are expected to travel this Christmas over the end-of-year holiday travel period. The number of overall travelers, about 2.02 million is essentially flat compared to last year, with just a one percent increase. While declining gas prices may lead to more people choosing to travel this holiday weekend, the winter storm that hit Thursday has created some challenges on the roadways.
