Maryland’s Public Service Commission has opened a new proceeding to explore ways that could provide relief to utility customers on a limited income. The commission is seeking ideas and suggestions on what mechanisms relief could entail from customers, advocates, elected officials and social justice organizations. PSC Chair Frederick Hoover said in a release that energy affordability is a priority of the Commission and the comments received will lead to solutions for Maryland families.
