Maryland lawmakers are scaling back Governor Wes. Moore's plan to boost the minimum wage. After hearing complaints from business owners, the Senate Finance Committee approved a version of the bill without tying annual increases in the minimum wage to inflation as of 2025. And while the governor wants to increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour by October, the revised plan would delay that until January of next year.
