On August 28, 2024, Cumberland Police Department responded to the 500 block of Marshall Street in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival officers made contact with the victim, who advised of a male threatening her with a paint can. Officers spoke with other witnesses who stated the male was yelling and chasing the victim in the street. The male was identified as Christopher Emerson and was placed under arrest. Christopher was taken to Central Booking where he is currently awaiting a bond hearing.
Arrested: Christopher Emerson Age: 35 Cumberland, MD
Charges: 2nd Degree Assault, Disorderly Conduct and Disturbing the Peace.
