Although she declined to say whether or not she supports renewing the contract of Allegany County School Superintendent David Cox for another four years- school board vice president Laurie Marchini says she doesn’t see a need for a vote either way to be unanimous. The board has until February 1st to notify Cox, whose contract expires in June, if they wish to retain his services. Board member-elect Lorelee Farrell, who is on record opposed to keeping Cox, said she would want any vote- for or against by the board- to be unanimous.
