An early morning fire in Flinstone saw three cats parish, but a family dog rescued. The Maryland State Fire Marshal was issued a prelinary report:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Occupant was asleep when the smoke alarm activated. Occupant was able to retrieve a dog and exit the residence. Occupant was going to go back inside for three cats but the smoke inhibited her from doing so. The three cats perished inside the residence. The Fire Marshal's Office reminds everyone “get out, stay out”. Occupant was displaced and is being assisted by the American Red Cross.
