Frostburg’s Derby Day Winner, Mady Ditto took time to speak with WCBC’s Ella Holly Monday morning. The rising fifth grader at West Side Elementary won the annual race down Main Street in Frostburg this past Saturday, taking seven races. Ditto told WCBC some of the advice her coach gave her for the races. “Well, something that my coach Glenn told me – what we said was, “Nose to your toes, no sight-seeing and no wiggle-waggle.”
Mady also shared how she celebrated her victory. “I really wanted to have my face painted but they were already closed, so I got a Slurpee.”
