Across Maryland, the Lottery paid more than $40 million in prizes during the seven-day period ending June 9, including 48 tickets worth $10,000 or more.  Locally, an Electric 8’s scratch off game sold at Parkview Liquors on Greene Street was worth $88,000. Last week, a Westernport couple won $90,000 on the Lottery’s Big Spin Wheel and another Allegany County resident won $50,000 on the Bonus Match 5 game at the end of May.
