Sunday, November 17 and Saturday, November 23 have been marked as work days on the Lonacona Loop trail at Dans Mountain State Park. Citizens are invited to join park rangers starting at 9am to build a new connector trail. No tools or experience are needed but volunteers will come away from the project with new skills while helping to provide sustainable, shorter loops for hikers to enjoy. Volunteers should bring water and wear work gloves and work boots. Lunch will be provided.
