Cheston Browning, 80 of Oakland passed away Oakland. He and his wife Earldean were owners of Tommy's Market, Cumberland, and lived in Cumberland until his retirement to Florida. From 1972 to 1977 he was general manager of Browning's Oakland market. As vice president in charge of corporate development for Browning's, Inc., from 1977 to 1981. In 1981, bought and operated Tommy's Market, Cumberland, until 1991. From the time he was a teenager, he loved music and was in a barbershop choral group and sang tenor in a barbershop quartet named the Ritz Chords for many years.
