Local author John Ketzner is back with a new collection of short stories. The book called “Where’s That Bastard Owen and Other Yarns” is available locally and on Amazon.  Ketzner said he started writing by using prompts from the Maryland Writers Association.  He shared thoughts on one of his favorite stories from the book…

“Charmin and Billy, which is a play on F. Scott Fitzgerald and Zelda and I think that might be my favorite of those stories. The challenge was to write in that vibe so it’s sort of trying to emulate “The Great Gatsby.”

Ketzner will be signing his books on Saturday from 11 till 1 at the Book Center downtown.
