The advisory committee of the Allegany County Library System recently held its third meeting since being organized in August. The committee was formed by the library system to explore and advise the Library Board on sustainability measures for cost-effective library operation. Library Director John Taube tells WCBC the most recent meeting saw the formation of good ideas to pursue…
“We turned the committee loose just in a brainstorming way to gather up all kinds of ideas and just sort of get them all on the board so that we can all start looking at them and start figuring out which ones we should continue to pursue and which ones are great ideas but are not necessarily the best ones to pursue at this time.”
