Children attending the Summer Day Camp sponsored by the Cumberland Parks and Recreation Department will be able to improve their computer skills over the school break. A donation of 30 refurbished laptops was made by Mark Widmyer on behalf of Senator Mike McKay’s office. A federal government program that Widmyer became familiar with while working with the Hogan administration is the source of the laptops - they are ones retired from government use and are refurbished and donated for community programs such as the Summer Camp at Constitution Park. The Summer Camp begins June 19th and runs through August 4th from 9am-4pm weekdays. Widmyer said several community groups have been able to benefit from the surplus computers…
