The preliminary cause of a fire at a Friendsville residence has been deemed accidental. Fire crews responded to a residence on Dixon Road late Monday evening. A resident was attempting to use the stove and turned on the wrong burner which ignited nearby combustibles. Smoke alarms in the home activated. Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control and no injuries were reported.
