West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrissey said Monday the US District Court of Eastern Kentucky has issued a preliminary injunction against recent Title IX regulation. The Department of Education is seeking to abolish sex-based distinctions in educational activities including sports where males identifying as female would be allowed to compete in girls’ sports and use women’s bathrooms and locker rooms. States not complying would lose federal funding.
